Rember you have to check to see if your rims will fit these brakes.
If you can, go with at lest 16" rims, 15" might fit if you file down some of the cooling ribs...
I found out it's a lot easier to get loaded calpers, than to find all the little parts to do this swap
Most of this parts are from Carquest, why Carquest? Because Carquest gave me all the books to get all this information.
Loaded Right Front Caliper Assembly 16-4317
Loaded Left Front Caliper Assembly 16-4318
get two of these
Front Rotor 55011
or
The severe duty is
Right SD55011R
Left SD55011L
The metic 10mm x 1.0mm Banjo Bolts are from SpeedWay Motor in Lincoln NE http://www.SpeedwayMotors.com and the others ( grade 8.8 ) metic 14 x 2.0 bolts I got at the John Deere Implement to mount the calipers to the brackets, you might have to shim to get the calipers brackets center over the rotor.
I made the custom adapter plate out of a 1/4" thick 4" x 9" strip steel.
Modified the spindles by cutting and grinding off the top bolt boss 3/16" to make the top and bottom bosses even.
Had the drum wheel hubs turned in a lathe to take a little off the out side until it slip onto the C4 rotors and replace the wheel studs with longer disk brakes wheel studs.
Rember you have to swap the master cylinder for the Brakes to work right.
A '68 camaro has stagger shocks so it take two right hand 1997-94 camaro brake brackets GM parts number 18019858 from http://GMpartsdirect.com or your near by GM parts Man. and the rest of these parts are for 1997-94 camaro from Carquest
You might have to have to have the axel turned in a lathe to take a little off the out side of the axel hub until the Camaro rotor slip onto it.
Two rear right hand Loaded Caliper parts number 16-4540
and two Rear Rotors 55027
or
The severe duty is
Right SD55027R
Left SD55027L
the e-brake cable are form Control Cables in Santa Fe Springs
Phone (562)949-0455 or Lokar
Don't order two right severe duty rotors just one right and one left or the left side will not cool right and it will over heat and fail.
The severe duty Rotors are mainly for road racing or having too much fun
Don't forget, you have to re-do the hard line and get two brake hoses, banjo bolts, crush washers and ( grade 8.8 ) 12mm bolts to mount the calipers to the brackets and you might have to shim to get the calipers brackets center over the rotor. Don't forget to go to Mr. John Malouf
web site http://www.geocities.com/torkerscamaro/torker.html
He has so much more there.
If you go in to the auto parts store just to get brake pads..
Just the Pads....
((Ask for 1989 1LE Camaro Performace package brake pads!!))
Carquest parts number

I found out the '85 Buick Riviera brake hoses work O.K.
Carquest parts number are
(O.A.L.)
right side is SP5760 17 3/64"
left side is SP5761 17 1/32"
a shorter one SP5759 12 1/4 " if you want for the rear
All of these master cylinders will work with drum or disk rear brakes
# 1977 15/16" master Malibu Cardone pn 10-1639 small butt. Carquest pn 20-1639
- 1989 15/16" master S-10 Cardone pn 10-2057 big butt. Carquest pn 20-1905
* 1982 15/16" master Malibu Carquest pn 20-1903 big butt. <
The front reservoir is the rear brakes and the rear is the front on all of these master cylinders, Malibu Cardone part number pn 10-1639,
S-10 Cardone pn 10-2057, Malibu Carquest pn 20-1903
All the Big Butt master cylinders here are Quick Take Up type of master
cylinders. Please, get more information on how to bleed this type of
master cylinders.
http:pozziracing.com/quick_take_up_master_cyl.htm
The rear brakes line goto the large port size, the front is the small port
wather it's on the front or back of the master cylinder
* Has the right reservoir on it and bore size for the Corvette C4 brake swap. But it's a big butt, there are more than one way to make this work. What I did was to use a late model booster from a '85 monte carlo and old power booster brackets.
This information appeared in the July 1996 issue of Car Craft Magazine and should only be used as one of the resource to perform this modification to your vehicle. If you don't want to do all this work call or write: Power Brake Service and ask about an 8 1/2" dual diaphram power booster
I think the part number is 2515-707 price is about $295.00

# Will fit right on the stock 11" power booster, but you might have to make a spacer for the power booster push rod, or keep it manual. And you have to keep an eye on the brake fluid a little bet more if you have rear disk.
- The reservoir on this master cylinder will have to be replaced with one off a late model camaro, and its had a big but too.
Carquest parts number stock drum is 610-186 both front and rear 7/16-20 x 1 1/2 ( .472 Knurl ) 11/32 Shoulder Length
stock disk is 610-025 front 7/16-20 x 1 5/16 ( .564 Knurl ) 3/8 Shoulder Length
* 4 wheel disk 610-259 both front and rear 7/16-20 x 1 3/4 ( .475 Knurl ) 27/64 Shoulder Length
What I did was to use a 1/2 x 20 tap on my hubs, and cut to length Moroso wheel studs # 46200 from O'Reilly Auto Parts because I'm useing 16" 1985 Iroc rims.
* This is the stud to use if your going with stock 16" corvette rims, if thay fit
and you can use this stud with the Iroc Rims, But you have to use bigger seated nuts so the wheels stays on, like Carquest # 611-145 wheel nut
But double check me on this.... thats why I'm useing the Moroso studs.
Custom adapter plates are made out of a 1/4" thick 4" x 9" strip steel
and cut out with a small cutting wheel and a lot of time. The holes are
drilled out to 1/2" and I went to the machine shop to get them drilled
out to right size. Brian now has brackets available too, for $50.00 +
$7.00 Shiping last I know. His brake swap photos can be viewed here
http://web.tampabay.rr.com/68ss/index.htm
E-Mail Brian at: 68ss@tampabay.rr.com
Other at http://www.Camaros.net has the bracket too, just use the search
and fine them.
For 4 wheel disc only '78-'81 T/A 4 wheel disc brake proportioning valve.
GM Part # 1257189
I plan to just install a adjustable proportioning valve on the rear
brakes line.
